We are seeking a Mechanic with a Strong Mechanical Background and a Willingness to Learn to join our talented team. Certification is not required, but a passion for working on vehicles, a solid mechanical foundation, and a desire to grow your skills are essential. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from assembling camera systems to restoring and customizing classic cars. --- Key Responsibilities Fabrication & Welding (Training Provided) · Assist with custom welding and metal fabrication for projects, including vehicle restorations and camera systems. · Learn and apply advanced fabrication techniques to create durable, high-quality components. · Modify and repair vehicle frames and structural components under guidance. Mechanical Repairs & Maintenance · Support the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of classic cars, modern vehicles, and specialty equipment. · Perform basic engine work, suspension repairs, brake servicing, and other mechanical tasks with training and mentorship. · Assist with preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Electrical Work (Training Provided) · Help install and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electronic components. · Learn to integrate modern electrical systems into classic car restorations. · Support the assembly and wiring of components for camera systems surveillance units. Vehicle Restoration · Contribute to restoring classic cars to their original condition or customizing them to meet client specifications. · Assist with bodywork, including rust removal, panel preparation, and paint prep. · Help source, install, and test original or aftermarket parts as needed. Project Support · Collaborate with the team to plan and execute projects effectively. · Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on projects. · Assist in upholding company standards and ensuring safety compliance. Additional Duties · Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery. · Work closely with experienced mechanics to develop your skills and knowledge. · Assist with inventory management, including ordering parts and supplies. · Support other company operations, such as inspections, quality assurance, and customer interactions. --- Qualifications Required: · Mechanical background with hands-on experience in automotive, fabrication, or related fields (professional or personal). · Basic understanding of automotive systems, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions. · Willingness to learn welding, fabrication, and electrical work. · Ability to read basic diagrams and manuals. · Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Preferred: · Previous experience working on vehicles as a hobby or professionally. · Familiarity with basic tools and diagnostic equipment. · Interest in classic cars, custom vehicles, or specialty equipment.
