As a hydraulic hose mechanic, you will be servicing and installing hoses for a diverse customer base such as manufacturing, construction, and rental companies. You will be operating out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a fully customized mobile workshop/van while carrying out service calls in the local area. This provides you with the opportunity to solve problems, leverage your mechanical expertise, and deliver a professional service to help our clients get their equipment up and running again. Responsibilities: Service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base Qualifications: Experienced Mechanic in any of the following: Automotive Heavy Equipment Motorcycle Marine Hydraulics Tools: Must possess required tools of the trade or be able to acquire them upon completing initial training. Clean driving record and ability to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check. We rotate the on-call schedule with 3-4 other technicians weekly. On-Call means you take the company van home with you during this 7-day period so you must have a safe and allowable place to park a work van. While on call you must be prepared to respond to the after-hours service call within 30 minutes of receiving the notification. While on-call the tech cannot be consuming any alcohol, meds or drugs, or travel too far away from the work van for any reason. Shift availability: Overnight Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Day Shift (Preferred) Note that each PIRTEK center is individually owned and operated.
