JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a licensed Mechanic to join our existing shop division. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong background in dealing with various types of trucks and heavy equipment, including tractors, Loaders, RTVs.
The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the safe operation of our fleet vehicles and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • License 310S or 3rd year Apprentice
  • Proven mechanic experience with a focus on automotive repair and maintenance.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Travel to sites for service calls when required
  • Work effectively & cooperatively with fellow employees
  • Perform routine maintenance
  • Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications.
  • Repair or replace defective parts
  • Reassemble engines after repair or maintenance work is complete.
  • Experience in the operation, repair and maintenance of small equipment, both gasoline and diesel type engines.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and successfully repair the equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnoses, and repair equipment with accuracy and speed.
  • Ability to maintain written equipment maintenance record
  • Record repairs made, time spent, and parts used.
  • Complete all maintenance and repair activities in a safe and healthy manner according to company policies and procedures
  • Conduct daily inspections on vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Comply with all quality and safety expectations and policies and procedures
  • Complete time sheets and inspect the quality of work to ensure job requirements are met
  • Follow HR policies and procedures
  • Follow all Health and Safety regulations including wearing approved protective equipment
  • G Driver’s License or DZ – Provide an Abstract on request (All charges must be reported to HR Manager
