Position Summary We’re hiring a full-time Mechanic to join our Coatesville Pennsylvania team. You’ll be keeping our fleet of sweeper trucks, trailers, landscaping equipment, heavy equipment and medium-duty trucks running smoothly. If you’re sharp with diagnostics, confident around electric-over-hydraulic systems, and prefer tools over office work — this is your kind of job. Assembly & Installation: Build and assemble mechanical components using blueprints and technical documentation, ensuring proper torque specifications and correct installation procedures Inspection & Troubleshooting: Examine equipment to identify mechanical issues through visual checks, performance testing, sound analysis, and diagnostic tools Diagnostics & Documentation: Utilize diagnostic software, meters, and testing equipment to pinpoint failures and accurately document findings and repairs Repair & Reliability Work: Perform mechanical repairs and component replacements with a focus on safety, accuracy, and long-term performance Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance services to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan Fluid & Lubrication Management: Monitor and service oils, grease, and fluids while identifying leaks or contamination concerns Maintenance Communication: Provide clear guidance to operators on equipment care, maintenance needs, and best practices Additional Repairs: Assist with related tasks such as hydraulic service, electrical repairs, painting, or minor body work as needed Heavy Equipment Service: Work on large equipment including sweepers, loaders, backhoes, and similar industrial machinery Reliable Attendance: Maintain consistent, on-time attendance and readiness throughout scheduled shifts
