Description
Assemble, disassemble, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production and prototype powertrains (transmissions, axles, electrified powertrains and batteries), and vehicles; following the build book, illustrations, sketches, prints, check sheets, and repair manuals. Perform both garage and bench work, including, but not limited to: transmission/axle removal and reinstallation, transmission/electrified powertrain teardown and rebuild Works various shifts, including weekends when requested High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in mfg equipment operation Valid driver's license 5+ years with knowledge of electrical, air conditioning, fuel emissions, brakes, steering, hydraulics and clutches is helpful. Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to utilize or learn the Ford WORQ system and Microsoft Outlook and Excel Ability to communicate optimally and professionally Ability to complete full garage services on vehicles, build up and teardown of prototype transmissions and axles. Basic Computer skills for email and data entry.
