Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.   As a Mechanic II, you’ll repair and overhaul gas turbine engines while supporting inspection, disassembly, and documentation processes to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with aviation standards.   What you’ll do: * Inspect engine modules and components to assess condition and serviceability * Perform routine induction, disassembly, and overhaul of engines/components * Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints to determine proper procedures *  Complete documentation and maintenance records with a high degree of accuracy * Follow all aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements *  Work both independently and collaboratively to meet quality and production targets * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Identify and report defects, discrepancies, or non-conformances   Basic Qualifications * 3+ Years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, engine repair, or related automotive field * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg), with or without reasonable accommodation  * Ability to stand and work for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift), with or without reasonable accommodation  * 3+ Years of experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision in a production or maintenance environment * Successful completion of TOWES (Test of Workplace Essential Skills), if applicable   Desired Skills * Basic knowledge of gas turbine engines and related components * Previous experience with engine induction and dismantling processes * FAA Powerplant certification (or equivalent) * Strong attention to detail in documentation and inspection tasks * Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment   Benefits that make life better: * Comprehensive Healthcare  * Company pension plan with 100% company match; up to 5% vested (Canada) * Paid Time Off starting on day one * Bonus opportunities * Health- & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts * Short- & Long-Term Disability * Learning & Training opportunities   Raising the Standard of Excellence since 1911 With over a century of proven excellence, StandardAero has become an industry leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field.
