Description The Mechanic position is responsible for the following: Mechanical background preferred Experience with commercial trucks, oil change, break jobs, etc. General maintenance of commercial vehicles Painting Running for parts, picking up trucks, drivers, etc. Any positions needed in the garage Have their own tools Requirements Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED Valid driver’s license, Clean Driver’s record, and reliable transportation CDL Preferred Employment is conditional on verification of clean driving record, background check(s), and pre-employment/random drug testing Competencies: Communication Technical and mechanical skills Capable of working independently Available Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package 401(k) and profit sharing Paid holidays & vacation/sick time Supervisory Responsibility: None Work Environment: This job operates in the field, both indoors and outdoors depending on the scope of work Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position and regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.in addition to weekends on an as-needed basis with the ability to work outside of or in addition to those hours as needed.
