Description Your experience as a heavy equipment/truck mechanic will put you at the top of our list! Hocon Gas is excited to announce the opening of a full time Fleet Mechanic position. The Fleet Mechanic will inspect, maintain, schedule and track repairs on all company vehicles. Job duties are listed below but not all inclusive as we remain flexible with each position at Hocon Gas: The Fleet Mechanic will be ordering his/her own parts and maintaining inventory. Vehicles included are light, medium and heavy-duty straight and service trucks. Knowledge of Propane and or Oil delivery truck pumping / metering systems preferred, but we will train the right individual(s) Welding and light fabrication skills are a plus. Minimum 2 years of Class 3 – 7 truck experience preferred. Must have own tools. Class “B” CDL Required, Tanker and Haz-mat endorsements obtainable within 120 days Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen Wages are based on experience
Responsibilities
The Fleet Mechanic will inspect, maintain, schedule, and track repairs on all company vehicles. This includes ordering parts and maintaining inventory for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks.
