Description
Job Purpose   Provide complete equipment support for the shop and field operations.   Essential Duties Responsibilities  1. Performs all maintenance on equipment assigned by the supervisor. 2. Performs diesel engines trouble shooting and repairs. 3. Performs regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions.  4. Perform modifications and repairs to field and shop equipment.  5. Performs hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repairs. 6. Advises supervisor of parts purchases. 7. Maintains work orders on all work performed and keeps Supervisor actively updated on status of work. 8. Assists superintendents with field equipment problems. 9. Travels to job locations to complete scheduled or unscheduled equipment maintenance.  10. Responsible actively for keeping work area clean and well organized. 11. Assists in the final inspection for all equipment before loading for transportation to a jobsite.  12. Observes all of CROM’s safety procedures. 13. Report to work as scheduled by the employer and without excessive absenteeism.  14. Late arrival notifications to Supervisor prior to expected start time.  Excessive tardiness is not acceptable. 15. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Management.     Minimum Qualifications               HS Diploma or equivalent             1-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance   Other requirements               Valid Florida Driver's License.             Forklift Certified.             Must own and maintain all tools required for the job.   Working Conditions               Exposure to elements of mechanic's shop setting.               Requires travel, including overnight, outside of employee's home territory.             Exposure to hazardous materials.             Exposure to frequent loud noises.             Exposure to dangerous machinery.             Generally, works five days per week per approved schedule, although overtime may occur.
