We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience working with hand and power tools, a valid Journeyman Automotive or Heavy-Duty license. Work is on light to medium duty commercial vehicles, inspected every 6 months. Great long term customers who appreciate the work you do. Good shop environment with an employer that cares.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on commercial vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Perform inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Ability to use power tools effectively
- Valid CVIP license an asset but can be obtained after
