Description

As part of our strategic growth plan, McBreen Environmental are seeking LGV and Commercial Mechanic based in Cavan.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experienced in light goods vehicles
  • Diagnostics and modern vehicle electronics desirable
  • Display an ability to work to high standards
  • Be diligent with a flexible approach to work
  • Possess strong organizational and planning skills

The Role:

  • Carrying out Diagnostics, repairs and servicing on a range of vehicles within the fleet
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on fleet
  • Liaise with Head Mechanic and other mechanics to ensure the smooth running of Operations within the Garage
  • Responsible for always maintaining parts inventory and cleanliness in the garage
  • Organising of Vehicle and Equipment inspections with third parties

Essential Requirements:

  • Good English
  • Independent Problem Resolution
  • Work well under pressure
  • Be a team player
  • Work on own initiative when required
  • Full Clean valid Driver’s License (B)
