Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-4PM Who We Are SMS group is the leading partner in the world of metals. We are an original equipment supplier offering comprehensive maintenance and spare part services for metals production, continuous casting and rolling (flat and long products), tubes, welded pipes, forging, non-ferrous technology, and heat treatment plants - all from a single source. What you’ll do * Disassemble and clean parts for rebuild. * Reassemble new or reconditioned parts. * Bearing disassembly, cleaning, mounting, and assembly * Tube bending * Use of a torch * Use of measuring devices, calipers, mics, feeler gauges * Routinely repair/maintain facility machinery, tools, and equipment. * Blueprint reading-interpret drawings. * Complete inspection forms and related paperwork * Use of jib cranes, fork trucks, and overhead cranes-all training provided. * Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and orderly. What you’ll need * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Good working knowledge of mechanical tools Physical Demands * Stoop, kneel and bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis. * Lift and move up to 40 pounds * Remain in a standing or walking position for extended periods on a daily basis.
