RED SEAL AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Our shop is nestled in the Rocky Mountains in the beautiful town of Elkford BC.
Nightcrawler is a full service shop performing maintenance, diagnosis and repair on a variety of vehicles and equipment used in and around the coal mines.
We are looking for a positive, self motivated automotive mechanic who would like to achieve their full potential.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Work with the service advisors and other technicians to diagnose customer complaints.
  • Inspect the vehicle to determine if any additional service work is required and notify the service advisor immediately.
  • Perform vehicle maintenance.
  • Complete necessary repairs in a safe and timely manner.
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills and qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Red seal automotive technician certificate.
  • Must have own tools, some PPE provided.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to do some heavy lifting as work varies from light, medium and heavy duty vehicle maintenance to crane, compressor and welder repair/service.

Benefits:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • No weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour

  • Elkford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
