Description

MECHANIC

Oakpark Powerline is currently seeking a full-time Mechanic to service it’s fleet vehicles, equipment and tools. Our fleet is made up of crew trucks, bucket trucks, digger trucks, tandem axle dump trucks and semis. We also operate directional drills, excavators, loaders, dozers and skidsteers. This position will report directly to the shop foreman.
Oakpark Powerline operates throughout Western Canada -the ideal candidate will have the ability to travel as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

The mechanic would be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing all vehicles. This can be expected to include but not limited to the maintenance and repairs of engines, transmissions, cooling systems, air systems, fuel and exhaust systems, clutch and differentials, brakes and tires, hydraulic and electrical systems and lubrication systems.
· Heavy Duty Mechanic License (asset)
· 3 years experience
· Provide own tools and cabinet
· Strong Communication Skills
· Organized – Keeping maintenance documentation
· Ability to work with minimal to no supervision
Flexibility to travel as needed
The successful candidate will be required to pass a criminal record check
