JOB DESCRIPTION

As a mechanic at Paveit Construction Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of trucks and paving equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our machinery operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting project deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience as a mechanic, particularly with trucks and paving equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Certification in heavy equipment mechanics or automotive repair.
  • Familiarity with paving equipment brands and models.
