Job Summary: The Mechanic will complete all repairs, preventative maintenance, programmed repairs and facility repairs to be in compliance with equipment/ facility reliability and standards. Maintenance mechanic will report any foreseeable problems to the Shop Manager. Essential Job Accountabilities: * General mechanical knowledge including pumps, hydraulics and electrical * Basic welding knowledge and experience * Good assembly skills * Experience with preventative maintenance programs * Basic intermediate computer skills * Experience with work order execution * Has own basic tools * Experience with safety training * Facility repair experience. * Keep up with training and process needs, requirements. * Problem solve and root case diagnosis * Communicates well and works in clean orderly manner * Diagnose and manage employees projects * Schedule repairs and maintenance of equipment * Other duties as assigned * Work afternoon shift and overtime when available. Education: * High school diploma or equivalent * Trade education in industrial mechanics (preferred) Additional Requirements/Skills: * Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial mechanical repairs. * Heavy truck repair experience. Must have Preventative Maintenance system experience. * Possess own basic hand tools.
