We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team in supporting our Mechanics and Specialized Technicians at our main Shop in King, Ontario.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & CAPABILITIES:

  • Hold a valid driver’s license (Class G) with a very good driving record and independent means of transportation to work location
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy parts and equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Mechanically inclined and/or auto body repair knowledge and experience
  • Experience operating forklift, hand truck and/or other material handling equipment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to safely and freely access all parts of an industrial or construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
  • Competent English language skills (CEFR B2/C1- CLB 7/8) – both written and oral

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED BUT WOULD BE AN ASSET:

  • Experience preparing (file/grind/sand) repaired body surfaces in preparation for painting; mixing paint; applying primers, repainting surfaces using brush or spray guns
  • Experience in a mechanical shop or construction environment

Responsibilities
  • Support Mechanics and Specialized technicians in the build, maintenance, repair and refurbishment, including prep and painting, of commercial and custom equipment
  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport parts and goods to designated locations within the GTA
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
  • Assemble containers and crates, record contents, pack goods for shipment to job sites
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips and purchase order
  • Unpack and route goods to appropriate areas
  • Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
  • Carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks around the Shop, Yard and property
