We are seeking a motivated and organized Mechanic Shop Coordinator to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our equipment maintenance and repair services.
The Mechanic Shop Coordinator will oversee and manage the daily operations of our mechanic shop, ensuring that all landscaping equipment, vehicles, and machinery are properly maintained, repaired, and ready for use. This role requires a detail-oriented, highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and experience in managing maintenance schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a mechanic/shop coordinator, preferably in landscaping or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of small engine repair, vehicle maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or coordination role is an asset.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software or willing to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a mechanic environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments.
  • Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance and repair of landscaping equipment and vehicles.
  • Work closely with the mechanics to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the mechanic shop.
  • Provide occasional support with the transportation and delivery of equipment.
