Moffitt Services is seeking a Parts Assistant to support our fleet operations. The Parts Assistant will receive, manage, and organize parts inventory, update fleet software, handle vendor pickups and returns, and assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized parts storage area and mechanic shop. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Receive delivered parts from vendor enter them into fleet software * Drive to vendor locations to pick up parts as needed * Maintain physical parts inventory and update fleet software accordingly * Track returned parts and core returns to ensure credits are issued * Order parts for inventory as directed by the Fleet Manager * Keep parts storage area clean, organized and verify inventory accuracy daily * Assist Lead Mechanic and Fleet Manager with shop cleaning as needed Qualifications:  * Clean Background - No Felonies * Working Cell phone * Ability to be on call (Rotation) * Ability to work a flexible/additional shift, if needed * Take instruction and complete tasks accordingly * Able to work unsupervised * Team Player * Must be 21 or older License/Certification: * Driver's License * Clean MVR Relocation * N/A Travel Requirements * Local and regional areas * Availability to travel for disaster response, a plus Work Schedule/Benefits * Able to work a rotating schedule (typically 5/2) - May have to work weekends and holidays * Moffitt Services offers competitive insurance rates through medical, dental, and vision plans; and a 401(k)-match program.
