We are seeking a Mechanic to join our team in Fond du Lac, WI. In this role you will assist with maintenance and repairs to equipment and vehicles; asset tracking; replacing worn and defective parts, re-assembling mechanical components, changing oil, spark plugs, batteries, filters, etc. Why TAK? The Role Maintain, repair and track vehicles and equipment Assist with maintenance and repairs to equipment and vehicles, replacing worn and defective parts, re-assembling mechanical components, changing oil, spark plugs, batteries, filters, etc. Assist with tracking and assigning equipment and vehicles to field personnel Coordinate assistance to field personnel for delivering, replacing and repairing defective equipment Repair and paint trailers and equipment as needed Assist with picking up and delivering material to several office locations throughout Wisconsin Maintain a clean and organized shop Keep common needed supplies stocked Occasional local travel within 2-3 hour range Perform all other duties as requested Requirements 2+ years of mechanic work experience Strong ability to work cohesively with others Excellent knowledge of vehicle and equipment repair Excellent mechanical skills Ability to follow instructions and lead other mechanics Ability to use power and hand tools Ability to read service and repair manuals Willingness to work in a wide variety of conditions including indoors, outdoors, small spaces, assorted weather conditions, etc. Willingness to travel as needed within 2-3 hour range Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving Class A CDL a plus Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen) The compensation and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
