JOB OVERVIEW:

We’re after a skilled mechanic to keep motors running sweet at Folkestone Motors. You’ll be diagnosing and fixing all sorts, and if you can do MOTs, that’s a bonus (not a must). We want someone with solid know-how, a good eye for detail, and pride in their work. It’s a proper hands-on job in a friendly, family-run garage where teamwork and happy customers come first.

• Find and fix faults on engines, gearboxes, suspension, brakes, and more.
• Do regular servicing – oil changes, brake checks, tyre swaps.
• Give motors a full once-over to spot problems early.
• Use diagnostic kit to track down issues quickly.
• Keep notes on jobs done and parts used.
• Work with the team to keep jobs moving.
• Keep the workshop tidy and safe.
• No heavy lifting or overly strenuous work.
