 Performing vehicle/van/truck/machine repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order/request with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with site operational standards.   Qualifications -Communicates with Site Manager regularly to effectively manage productivity. -Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, authorized by Site Manager. -Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of site vehicles. -Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.  -Providing exceptional customer experience to ensure safety and compliance standards are met   Other Functions/Responsibilities: -Other duties as assigned   Qualifications:   Education: -Associates/Vocational Degree/training or related mechanical repairs experience.   Position Requirements: -1 to 3 years’ experience as a mechanic -Experience working at a high-volume dealership or retail auto body shop a plus -Experience with construction equipment a plus -Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels within the organization - Must have a basic command of the English language to understand the safety requirements of the position -Experience working with diesel vehicles/machinery a plus       Soft Skills:                                 -Maintains positive attitude and works well with others -Completes work accurately and in a timely manner. -Works independently and possesses good judgment skills. -Excellent interpersonal skills -Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt to changing environment   Physical Requirements:           -Ability to work standing up for 6-8 hours a day -Ability to lift 50 lbs  (tires/parts) -Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing. -May be required to work weekends and holidays when requested (will receive appropriate pay for working overtime)
