Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics, Trade Assistant or have a passion for mechanics and want to gain experience within the waste industry, come join our supportive and friendly teams based in Welshpool 6160, this role has the opportunity to move to Ganagara once trained.
As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic you will be responsible for servicing and maintenance within Veolia’s workshop maintaining commercial waste vehicles, plant and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- To service maintain and repair plant, equipment and fleet vehicles in a timely manner
- Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor/Leading Hand in an efficient and timely manner
- Complete work orders, purchase orders and part requisitions daily and in full
- Record, monitor stock and part levels and advise any discrepancies
