Yulong Stud are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Mechanic to join the team.
Yulong is a thoroughbred stud farm set over 4,000 acres near Nagambie in the pristine Goulburn Valley. It is a family owned and operated business whose vision is to be one of the best and most influential thoroughbred breeders in Australia. We have a variety of farm vehicles that require maintenance and are looking for a dedicated individual to fill that role.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician, minimum of 3-4 years experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems.
• Clean Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Right to work in Australia is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, well-presented and punctual.
• Excellent interpersonal and concise communication skills, with ability to maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize, good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety practices and regulations.

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing on Farm Vehicles and Machinery.
• Maintain a regular and appropriate schedule of servicing for all farm vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles.
• Test-drive vehicles to confirm proper operation and identify issues that require further attention.
• Maintain the Farm Workshop area under supervision of the Workshop Manager.
• Purchase of Equipment or parts needed for maintenance, if required by Management.
• Maintain accurate records of all Servicing and repair work performed.
• Communicate effectively with relevant Managers regarding repair needs and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
