Description Best-One Tire & AutoCare is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our commercial service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial trucks and trailers both in-shop and on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with diesel engines and trailer systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Truck & Trailer Maintenance Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, steering, and suspension. Conduct alignments, welding, and metal fabrication as needed. Inspect and service trailer components including tires, hubs, axles, and hydraulic systems. Execute preventative maintenance services and DOT inspections. Road Service & Fleet Support Operate heavy-duty service trucks and tools for mobile repairs. Respond to emergency roadside service calls and perform on-site repairs. Conduct fleet inspections and communicate mechanical needs to service and sales teams. Shop Operations Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Safely operate diagnostic equipment, lifts, jacks, and power tools. Document services performed and submit reports to management.
