POSITION: R & D 3D CAD DESIGNER

We currently have an opportunity for Reach and Development 3D Cad designer - contractor position, paid by experience.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in AutoCad and 3D software – Fusion 360 or invertor
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing area
• Experience in electrical enclosure/cabinet design/service entry equipment is a plus
• Ability to design independently and coordinate with all respects.
• Good knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and UL standards
• Good knowledge of other industry and regulatory standards and design criteria is a plus.
• Proficiency in a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques.

• Strong technical and design skills.
• Ability to timely identify and resolve issues.
• Attention to details and accuracy.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

You will design the Electrical and Mechanical equipment including:

• 2D and 3D modeling design in AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or invertor is must
• Design, develop and manufacturing implementation of MCCB, Transformer, Kiosk.
• Design, develop and manufacturing implementation of CSA or UL accepted electrical enclosure, cabinet, other electrical equipment, and etc.
• Support manufacturing implementation of products through design for manufacturing and design for assembly
• Support senior engineer to design building power distribution and lighting system
• Ability to travel to manufacturer’s site for coordination and supervision
• Electrical and mechanical manufacturing background is preferred
