Fixed-Term contract until Sep 2026 with access to Ventia employee benefits program We pride our services on delivering service excellence to the communities we live in About the Project Supporting SEQWater, Ventia deliver preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance along with electrical, mechanical and instrumental services across its water network. Servicing across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams. About the Role We are currently looking for the below crew members, to support the project in improving accurate asset inventory to allow better planning, maintenance and management of resources across the project: Mechanical Tradespeople (Fitter and Turner or equivalent), and/or Boilermaker with sound mechanical knowledge Key duties include but are not limited to: Daily inspections: conducting a thorough assessment of Seqwater's current asset data and identifying gaps and inconsistencies which could include: Pressure vessels, valves, actuators, lifting equipment, safety showers, etc. Utilising Ipads on Ventia's customized platform, Novus, for real-time data entry, validation, and cloud storag About You Experience Mechanical across large maintenance programs and networks Current C Class Driver Licence Trade Cert: Mechanical Fitter or Fitter and Turner or Boilermaker Ability to undergo a Hepatitis A and B vaccination Must be willing to travel-away when required (sites can vary between being close to home and approx. 3hrs away) Must be willing to undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment proces About Ventia Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
