The Role: The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for working in a manufacturing environment with a team of assemblers, insulators and other professional trades, assembling large and small components on a variety of projects Key Responsibilities: * Complete mechanical assemblies by reviewing work instructions, blueprints, and hands on training support * Install parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements * Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies * Complete QA validations with assistance from team members * Perform tasks involving physical labor; operate hand and power tools, wrenching and tightening bolts. * Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. What You Bring: * Preference given to candidates with experience in a heavy industrial setting or previous experience doing assembly in a manufacturing environment. * Mechanically inclined with experience working with power tools (torque wrench, impact drills, grinders, etc.) and using overhead cranes * Highly self-motivated and career-minded individuals will receive hands-on training to further develop skills * Brings leadership potential and a growth mindset * Able to work independently * Able to communicate effectively and solve problems with team members * Tube bending experience an asset Thank you for your interest in Advanced Flow Systems.
