Description

REQUIRED (BASIC) QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical assembly using power tools
  • Completed High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance using proper/safe lifting techniques.
Responsibilities
  • Ability to act as assembly project lead on low to moderate complexity projects.
  • Direct work of MO2 assemblers, ensuring quality and taking accountability for low to moderate assembly projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, excluding wiring portion independently, as well as Oracle Bill of Materials.
  • Adequate computer skills to utilize 3D model viewing software and Microsoft Office products for emailing, e-turnbacks, etc.
  • Ability & willingness to flex to other departments as necessary.
  • Check parts picked/delivered to parts required. Resolve discrepancies, if any, with supervisor.
  • Escalate drawing concerns via appropriate channel.
  • Repair and modify any errors detected by test/inspection.
  • Work to CSA and UL code.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the internal KANBAN process.
  • Apply consistency in assembly method for units on the same order.
  • Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly by conducting inspection for conformance to drawings and specifications, functional operation and appearance and making mechanical adjustments as needed.
  • Clean unit and prepare for testing process.
  • Check performance of completed components to ensure compliance to quality standards and make necessary adjustments when required in order to meet quality goals.
  • Perform pack and ship duties.
  • Use various fixtures, gauges and assembly tools to assemble, adjust or repair product.
  • Perform other duties as required.
