This location, combined with our benefits, provides a unique advantage for those looking to thrive in the semiconductor industry Job Title: Mechanical Assembler (Swing Shift) Job Department: Manufacturing Job Overview: Mechanical Assembler sets up and operates production machines and equipment. Reports to Production Supervisor and is located in Newark, CA. Primary Job Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for the overall operation of the assigned production line/unit that may include assembly and the following: • Ability to manually hand solder electronic components. • Setup, read and understand Set-up Sheets, Assembly Instructions, and Assembly Notes. 2. Execute written/verbal instructions given by supervisor and monitor efficiency and quality of assigned routine tasks: • Read and follow work instructions and visual aids • Check and inspect task results against predetermined standards, • Identify, communicate, and escalate production issues and problems 3. Perform other duties and tasks related to the Production Operator. Key Requirements and Qualifications: • Minimum education requirement is a High school diploma or GED. • Basic understanding of IPC • Minimum 3-year work experience in a manufacturing production environment • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to stand in an eight-hour work shift with mandatory rest and lunch breaks • Ability to work flexible OT when needed. Required Education and Experience: 1. High school diploma is desired 2. Minimum 1 year work experience in manufacturing production environment

Responsibilities

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the overall operation of the assigned production line, which includes setting up and operating production machines and equipment, and manually hand soldering electronic components. They must execute instructions, monitor efficiency and quality, and escalate production issues as needed.
