You’ll assemble special purpose machines to precise engineering drawings, fit bearings, gears, and pulleys, build sub-assemblies, and install pneumatic and hydraulic pipework-all while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
  • General assembly of small sub-assemblies to larger sections.
  • Fitting bearings, taper lock pulleys and gears.
  • Running pneumatic & hydraulic pipework.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication.
