JOB SUMMARY  The Mechanical Assembler I performs basic mechanical tasks associated with assembling and integrating hardware components into PCB assemblies. This role is suited for individuals entering the manufacturing industry and offers a structured training environment to develop foundational assembly skills.    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  * Assemble mechanical parts such as brackets, fans, fasteners, and enclosures to PCBAs using standard tools. * Follow assembly instructions, blueprints to complete basic builds. * Conduct visual inspections for correct hardware placement and basic fit issues. * Assist with packaging and labeling completed units. * Adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety standards. * Maintain cleanliness of workstation and comply with 6S practices. INTERNAL COMMUNICATION  * Report directly to the Secondary Operations Production Supervisor. * Collaborate with fellow assemblers and team leads for work prioritization. * Notify supervisor of issues or potential process defects.   EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION  * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and suppliers.   QUALIFICATIONS     To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE   * High school diploma or GED required. * No prior experience necessary; 0–1 year of general manufacturing or mechanical work is a plus.   LANGUAGE SKILLS   * Basic English reading and writing skills required to read work instructions.   TECHNICAL SKILLS   * Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.) * Ability to follow simple blueprints and written procedures. * Understanding of workplace safety and ESD awareness.   REASONING ABILITY   * Ability to carry out detailed but straightforward instructions. * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.   CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS   * None required; IPC-A-610 or similar certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
