10/2025 JOB SUMMARY  The Mechanical Assembler II performs intermediate to complex mechanical assembly tasks. This role requires previous experience assembling electro-mechanical components and an understanding of PCBA integration processes.    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  * Interpret assembly drawings and documentation (BOMs, exploded views, ECNs). * Assemble mechanical subassemblies with PCBAs and wire harnesses into enclosures. * Apply torque specifications correctly using calibrated tools. * Conduct in-process checks for proper hardware installation and alignment. * Support troubleshooting and rework of minor mechanical issues. * May assist in prototype or engineering builds.   INTERNAL COMMUNICATION  * Communicates regularly with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Technicians. * Provides feedback on work instruction clarity and improvement opportunities. * Works closely with team members to ensure production deadlines are met.   EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION  * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and suppliers. * Occasionally interacts with vendors or technicians during onsite support or audits.     QUALIFICATIONS     To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE   * High school diploma or equivalent required. * 2–4 years of mechanical assembly experience in a PCBA or electronics setting.   LANGUAGE SKILLS   * Proficiency in reading English technical documents and communicating in verbal/written form.   TECHNICAL SKILLS   * Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and technical instructions. * Use of torque drivers, calipers, and ESD-compliant tools. * Understanding of revision control, BOM structures, and ERP systems.   REASONING ABILITY   * Ability to identify mechanical mismatches, escalate problems, and offer solutions. * Capable of training junior staff on procedures and tools.   CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS     * IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or equivalent preferred.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS:    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
