JOB TITLE: MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER (SHOP-BASED) Shifts Available: Day & Night ---------------------------------------- OVERVIEW We are hiring Mechanical Assemblers for industrial manufacturing shop environments in the Houston area. These roles involve hands-on assembly of mechanical systems, equipment, and components in a production setting. This position offers long-term opportunity with potential advancement into lead roles based on performance and experience. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using blueprints and work instructions * Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and basic powered equipment * Install mechanical parts such as frames, panels, tubing, piping, and hardware * Perform quality checks using measuring and alignment tools * Identify and report defective materials or issues * Maintain a clean and safe work area * Support production flow and assist team members as needed * Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures ---------------------------------------- REQUIREMENTS * 2–5 years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred * Ability to read and follow drawings and work instructions * Familiarity with mechanical systems and fastening methods * Experience using measuring tools (calipers, torque wrenches, levels, etc.) * Strong attention to detail and reliability * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions * Forklift or material handling experience is a plus * Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply ---------------------------------------- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE * ISO manufacturing environments * Fabrication or assembly shop experience * Basic knowledge of MS Office or CAD tools (not required) ---------------------------------------- WORK ENVIRONMENT This is an industrial shop environment.
