Position Summary The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building customer products by assembling components in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. This role ensures assemblies meet required specifications through testing and inspection and prepares finished products by packing them for shipment. The Mechanical Assembler supports the organization’s commitment to quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. * Organizes parts and subassemblies for an efficient assembly process. * Verifies specifications by measuring completed components/products. * Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; and notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources. * Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies. Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent * 1+ years of varied manufacturing experience in Mechanical Assembly * Bend and lift, loading and unloading workpieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing * Perform repetitive work more than 9 hours per day * Ability to quickly learn new blueprints and perform all necessary measurements * Hand/power tool skills (Drill, Adjustable Wrenches, Pliers, Hammers, screwdrivers, etc.) Lake Air Products Offers: * Competitive Pay  * Full Benefits  * 401(k) Employer Match * Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay  * Gym Reimbursement  * Tuition Reimbursement  Apply Today!
