JOB OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various fitting techniques. This role involves assembling and fabricating components using hand and power tools, as well as performing welding tasks. A solid understanding of basic maths is essential for precise measurements and calculations. Ideally ability to read CAD/Solid Works drawings. This would possibly suit someone who has done a mechanical degree/HND and looking for their next opportunity.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations.
  • Hold a valid FLT license would be an advantage, although not essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Familiarity with sheet metal work is an advantage.
  • Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to assemble components accurately based on technical specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

    Great hours of work, Monday - Friday between 7.15am – 3.45pm, and an early finish on a Friday of 12.30pm. (37.5 hrs per week)

  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Checking incoming goods and completing inspection paperwork.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
