Responsibilities

Join our client to be part of a specialised manufacturing team that supplies precision parts to leading aerospace programmes. In this hands on position you will machine, shape, and finish complex titanium and Inconel based components, working to exacting standards and tight tolerances. Production ranges from small batch prototypes to recurring series work, giving you variety as well as technical depth.

What you will do:

  • Use conventional milling, drilling and tapping equipment to machine high-performance aerospace parts.
  • Interpret technical drawings, work orders and set up sheets to plan each operation independently.
  • Select and operate precision measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy throughout the process.
  • Maintain rigorous quality and documentation standards that meet or exceed global aerospace regulations.
  • Collaborate with production engineering on continuous-improvement ideas for machining efficiency and tool life.
