THE ROLE

Due to a period of growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical CAD Technician to join our Water team based in Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire. This is an essential role, which will enable our success in maintaining a high level of technical competence when delivering projects for our clients.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• Assists EWW designers and project engineers in producing outline, detailed and construction CAD drgs and models
• Able to produce P&iDs and mechanical layout drgs for the water industry to client specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers to gather information and incorporate supplier CAD drgs and models in the EWW CAD drgs and models
• Ensures client CAD and BIM standards are followed
• Have a design background to be able to contribute to designs by assisting with layouts and arrangements
• Assist with pre start and as built site surveys
• Assist with the EWW Design Management team to develop internal CAD and BIM standards and procedures
