Description Our Senior Account Manager position is based in our Des Plaines headquarters and are the primary contact for all existing customers in our various markets (IL, IN, MN and MO). Senior Account Managers work closely with Territory Sales Managers (outside sales) and other AM’s to maximize customer growth through strategic and personal customer experiences. Account Managers are the “heartbeat” of FSI/Mission Filtration handling 200 plus customer relationships and up to $5,500,000 in revenue. Senior AMs will be responsible for driving customer orders, upselling and working with the outside Sales Rep to achieve the territory yearly and quarterly goals. Duties & Responsibilities Manage book for business including Key Accounts whose annual revenue is more than $20k Work with Mechanical contractor vertical in all four locations to build and grow your relationship to enhance new customer onboarding and retention numbers Responsible for customer retention and captured revenue for existing customers that you manage Daily customer interactions through emails and phone calls Answer incoming phone calls promptly and with upbeat attitude CRM ownership - logging information to the customers’ accounts in our CRM system Quoting, quote follow up, expediting, executing specific customer requirements Daily and weekly team selling and communication with Territory Sales Team Develop and Execute Strategic Account Analysis Plan (minimum 3 times a month through Customer business reviews) Communicate with FSI Service Technicians to identify customer issues, upsell opportunities and go over survey and or job details Self-Management through KPI’s and responsible for reporting on territory metrics in a weekly scorecard Assist customers that call with placing will call orders Secure purchase orders for future revenue Communicating with service coordinator to ensure service jobs are on time and meet customer expectations Hold and Lead weekly tactical meetings with Territory Sales Rep based on assigned territories Hold and Lead monthly strategy meetings with Territory Teams to move the territory forward Plan touches geared towards moving our customers through our customer journey process from onboarding, retention to expansion Facilitate and schedule Customer Business review presentations with Key accounts Be a resource and mentor for Account Manager I’s by helping with training, collaborating on selling strategies and delegating territory work Maintain and grow existing customer revenue by doing 100% quote follow up every week, securing recurring orders, building relationships with customers and providing a quick response Support outside sales in customer acquisition and Sales Funnel Customer Touch Frequency with every customer, with a minimum of 20 customer touches per week through phone calls and emails Learn and stay abreast of our current products and new products introduced to be able to successfully provide solutions and identify upsell opportunities within your customer base Generate onsite opportunities for Sales and Account Managers Skill Requirements & Abilities 2 or 4-year degree Ideal, or prior experience in a sales environment which could include inside sales, business development, outside sales) Knowledge of customer service principles and practices and Sales principles and practices 1-2 Years of Customer Service Relationship Management and or dispatch experience CRM Experience (Netsuite, Salesforce, Oracle, Dynamics) Microsoft Office intermediate proficiency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Superior Communication skills - including verbal and written and presentation Initiative, Stress tolerance, Will to Succeed Ability to succeed in a fast paced work environment Multitasking & excellent organizational skills Filter Services Inc.
