Be responsible for Mechanical Maintenance for all process and ancillary support equipment and services, to maximize area Plant availability and Production capability.
Help co-ordinate the maintenance activities within a specified area of the plant.
Work in close liaison with supervisors and managers.
Allocate parts and priorities work, to maximize effectiveness of engineering resources.
Responsible for regular testing and maintenance of all mechanical services and associated standby equipment providing Process and Plant Protection.
Improve the net operating efficiency of the designated area of the plant.
Take a proactive approach to spare part asset management.
Enforce safe working practices to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner. Provide and maintain a safe working environment.
Responsible for execution of mechanical maintenance routines for the designated areas.
Ensure that spare parts are correctly stocked and appropriate.
Generate and implement (where applicable) innovations in the area.
