We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic consultancy team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, creativity, and leadership to complex building projects across the region.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building services design
• Proven track record with engineering consultancy firms
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and design software (e.g., HAP, Elite, etc.)
• Must be currently based in Dubai

• Design Leadership: Lead the mechanical design process for various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy systems.
• BIM Integration: Utilize Autodesk Revit to develop detailed 3D models of mechanical systems, ensuring seamless integration with other building disciplines.
• Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and efficient design solutions.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, industry standards, and sustainability certifications such as LEED or BREEAM.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the preparation and documentation of calculations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, present design solutions, and address any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
