Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Browns Summit, NC (on-site)
Salary: $70,000-$90,000 + annual bonus
Requirements: AAS or BS in Mechanical Design or similar study; 2+ years of Design experience

• Create detailed fabrication drawings from concept to final release for custom-engineered food processing equipment
• Develop assembly, subassembly, and component-level drawings in compliance with ASME standards
• Document assembly procedures to support lean manufacturing processes
• Generate and maintain Bills of Materials for production control and purchasing
• Produce preliminary layout drawings for project quotations
• Identify and implement design and productivity improvements
• Manage product design from concept through final release
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to provide technical support and feedback
• Compile technical information for owner/user manuals
• Contribute to company-wide continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives
