THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL: * Love to get their hands dirty, be known as a “gearhead”, * Set, Pursue, and attain achievable goals, regardless of obstacles or circumstances, * Establish a process for activities that lead to the implementation of systems, procedures or outcomes, * Be responsible for their own actions and decisions, * Take personal responsibility and action toward self- improvement and learning,  * Be open to customers and listen to what they are saying, read between the lines to determine what their needs are, * Organize and motivate people to accomplish goals while creating a sense of order and direction.   THE MECHANICAL ENGINEER WILL: * Validate designs of mechanical coil handling and feeding machines using calculations and solid modeling techniques in SolidWorks software, * Compute necessary engineering calculations for project specifications, * Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, quality policies, and performance standards, * Create drawings, Bill of Materials, and manufacturing process documentation, * Provide technical support and assistance to internal and external customers, * Lead project team to ensure project is completed on time and budget, * Collaborate with Purchasing, Machining, Fabrication, and Assembly Departments to support projects through the build stage, * Support current standard mechanical designs used for customer solutions and provide alternatives for future improved mechanical components and designs.   REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field or equivalent industry experience * 5-7 years in design and development of industrial machinery * Familiarity with manufacturing and machining techniques * Experience using SolidWorks solid modeling software (including Finite Element Analysis)  * Strong core competence in math, metallurgy, and properties of materials * Time management and organization skills  * Experience in using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook Coe Press Equipment is Proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer
