MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - FAREHAM - £55,000+ BENEFITS

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation based in Fareham. With a salary of up to £55,000 plus benefits, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an exciting and growing company.
The organisation are classed as a start-up, but with big growth plans. They design and manufacture high-spec products within the UK, which are exported globally.
Due to business growth and increasing project demands, they are seeking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis (Flexible Working Week Available).
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing a range of high-quality products from concept to manufacture. The role primarily involves designing for Sheet Metal Fabrication using SolidWorks, but you’ll also work with other manufacturing processes, including CNC machining.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or in a similar role
• Experience with the Design for Sheet Metal Fabrication or Sheet Metal Enclosures
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
