classified by the government as a category 1 contractor, the highest rating, and is certified for ISO 9001:2015. They
undertake major Civil, Infrastructure and Power Projects which include Design, Engineering, Procurement, Installation,
Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of Power Stations, Pumping Stations, Oil and Gas Pipelines, Refineries,
Desalination Plants, Major Housing Projects, Commercial Buildings, as turnkey EPC Contractor, Prime Contractor and
Major Sub-Contractor.
Project: EPC Project – Combined Cycle Power Plant

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 years experience in design engineering
• FEED expertise
• Experience in EPC projects
• Power plant project – design background
• Thorough understanding of Engineering standards
• AutoCAD application design skills

Job Objectives:

• lead and manage a team of professional draftsmen.
• develop designs from project specifications
• allocate, prioritize and check work of a team of draftsmen.
• check and evaluate design and material specifications for tender.
• prepare and check material data sheets and coordinate with procurement engineer select materials.
• document, record and report on meetings, progress of jobs and construction completions from design &

validation reports from Project Engineers.

• incorporate feedback from projects and customers for design clarification and modifications during the

development and construction project phases.

• formulate designs which are intended be practical, aesthetic and conducive intended purpose.
• use design techniques make the best visual and physical use of space.
• collaborate with team of designers meet the Project’s needs and provide engineering support.
• coordinate work produced by in-house junior designers, senior designers, consultants, code, specifications,

etc. as directed by the Project Manager.

• work closely with other construction professionals such as quantity surveyors, structural engineers, building

services engineers and builders.
