Description

IHRE AUFGABEN

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for legged robotic systems, including chassis, sensor mounts, drivetrain mechanisms, and protective enclosures
  • Optimise existing designs for series production, taking into account all the relevant constraints and inputs (product requirements, industrial design, user experience, target COGS, etc.)
  • Create detailed 3D models and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., Fusion360 or Autodesk Inventor)
  • Work closely with engineers to fabricate and test prototypes, ensuring mechanical designs meet performance, durability, and safety requirements
  • Perform stress analysis, weight optimization, and durability testing to improve the performance and reliability of mechanical designs
  • Work closely with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings, part specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs)
