POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Entry-Level Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of cutting-edge CNC machinery. Working closely with senior engineers and other departments, you will assist in the creation of detailed mechanical designs, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing support. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within the mechanical engineering field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC machinery, automation, or robotics is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the mechanical engineering field.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Internship or academic project experience in mechanical design or CNC machinery.
  • Knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools or simulation software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming or machine tool operations is beneficial.

    Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies for CNC machinery.
  • Create 2D/3D models and detailed technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design solutions that meet project specifications and manufacturing requirements.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting during the development phase.
  • Analyze mechanical systems for performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, including parts lists, assembly instructions, and design reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement activities.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, electrical, and software engineers.
