Roles and responsibilities:

Component and Product design and development with an initial focus on full electric vehicle architecture.
Knowledge of FEA solvers and simulation strategies.
Reverse engineering of existing OE components/systems to determine product adaptation.
CAD model, Assembly, and digital documentation creation.
Perform development and project cost analysis.
Coordinate prototype builds for new product launches.
Resolve technical issues with respect to product performance
Lead new component/system design projects up through hand-off to manufacturing.
Coordinate with engineering departments to create product testing requirements.
