KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Design and modify standard machinery to suit the clients particular site requirements and implement
2. Create and maintain accurate bills of materials for entry into the Company’s ERP system
3. Collaborate with sales and development engineers to bring new products from concept to full production
   4.Apply value engineering principles to enhance the cost-efficiency and performance of existing designs. Proactively lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute innovative ideas to increase department throughput
4. Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) best practices to ensure seamless integration with production capabilities. Collaborate closely with production personnel to enhance operational efficiency through optimised machine design and the strategic development of jigs and fixtures.
5. utilise Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD for 3D and 2D CAD design, supported by Vault for data management
6. Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project deliver
7. Ensure the Quality Management System is effectively implemented and strictly followed, while upholding the highest quality standards and supporting corrective actions resulting from quality issues or engineering changes.
   Occasional travel to suppliers and customer sites may be required.
