An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer within our technical department based in Bellshill. This is an on-site role. We will consider both full time and part time hours.

What will your role look like?

You will join Howden Electric’s friendly, innovative technical team, contributing to a range of exciting projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing manufacturing specifications, drawings, part lists, purchasing, and documentation for live orders
  • Monitoring progress through manufacture, testing, and sign-off
  • Implementing product modifications and developing new product designs, including drawings, specifications, part lists, technical documentation, costings, and manufacturing instructions
  • Leading projects involving R&D, manufacturing process improvements, and material component sourcing
  • Responding to customer queries and preparing quotations

What can you expect in return?

  • Competitive salary: £40,000–£55,000 DOE
